Decompression Tables
These tables indicate when the accumulation
of nitrogen in the diver’s body makes it necessary to
make one or more decompression stops and how long these stops
should be. The tables are calculated leaving enough margins
so as to be applicable to all persons and situations.
Using the tables requires having certain information
at hand such as dive time, maximum depth; the diver obtains
this information with the watch and depth gauge.
It is recommended to always have the tables
on the dive, even though other devices that can supplement
them are also taken along.
